Fine Dining for Vegans

Have you ever been excited about going out to a new restaurant or looked forward to celebrating a special occasion with a culinary experience at a Michelin starred restaurant only to find that there’s nothing – absolutely nothing – vegan on the menu?

There’s a misconception that vegan food isn’t gourmet. That it’s basic or else boring. That it’s basically green salad and crudités. But here at Bubbling Stove, we offer mouth-watering gourmet vegan menus for weddings, private dining and relaxed lunches. Indeed we  find vegan cuisine to  be vibrant and exciting as plant based food can be transformed in an absolute wealth of ways – which make them perfect for  exciting and creative menu creation.

So, what constitutes gourmet food, exactly?

The answer is two fold: presentation and attention to detail. You can’t just slop something on a plate and call it ‘gourmet’ – regardless of what it is or how tasty it may be. And when I say attention to detail, I mean, each little bit has something special about it: maybe there’s a sauce, maybe there’s a mousse or a garnish. At Bubbling Stove we spend a lot of time thinking about flavour combinations and presentation.

We have catered for many vegan weddings, drinks parties and dinner parties. When we create   vegan menus there are often several ingredients forming one small dish, presenting a burst of myriad flavours with each bite and our vegan menus are far from dull.
